Dear All, I would like to know if there is a problem in obtaining the Greencard while staying on a J1 visa in the US. I might go to the US next year on a J1 visa. I also take part in the Greencard lottery. If I win, I will be in the US already. What about the two year home residence requirement? Will this count even with the Greencard in my hand?
